But seriously. After three losses to Elesa's Pokemon in a row, I'm starting to not like Emolga as much :c

The trick is to fight Electric with Electric. I like using electric pokΓ©mon and Emolga is my favorite so I tried to catch one for this fight x3 Remember, using electric moves on emolga is normally effective since it loses it's resistance to electric due to being part flying. But you've already beat Elsa so you don't need this advice anymore, haha.

It only took one try for me to beat her but that was after she wiped out half my team. My Liepard and Pursuit finished her up very quickly after that, but I totally understand this vent XD I felt the same way.

I used Zebstrika with the Lightningrod ability and dared her to use electric moves...electric moves not being resistant on Emolga was a lifesaver, I spammed Spark and flame charge until they croaked...critical hit got one and it made me smile

I didn't have too much trouble against Elesa though, and managed to beat her on the first go. I just used my Sandile at the time to slowly chip away at its health, or my Zebstrika to absorb all the electric attacks and spam Flame Charge. xD

Same here. Elesa's gym challenge was the hardest IMO out of all of them.

hmmm I didnt have a problem with that...I beat the gyms 1-7 in 1 try all with my 4 pokemon; Herdier, Archeops, Scrafty and Samurott. Now I have added a Golett to my team and waiting till I can catch a Deino for my team to be complete

I swear to god the game knows exactly what you're doing. Every time I fought Elesa she constantly used Volt Switch, EXCEPT for the two times I tried to use pursuit to counter it. After my pokΓ©mon fainted, she started using Volt Switch again >.>

Volt Switch between Emolga and Zebstrika is FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU

I hated that. So I had to try and get both of those Emolgas first before they used that Volt Switch. Thankfully, getting the fourth badge was worth it.

She hardly used volt switch on me. I suggest getting a pokemon that knows pursuit. Double damage if it tries to switch out on you! XD

Pffft haha. Because a PokΓ©mon who makes a good use of being capable of Physical AND special sweeping "sucks". Did you know an emolga with acrobatics holding no items will do 135 damage with STAB included? And at Emolga's speed it's certainly admirable.

I beat Elesa's team the first time I went,I mean,Volt Switch IS VERY ANNOYING but I managed...somehow xD
