Description
The artist there said he was a proffesor on the columbia university , NY, not sure if it is true. He was drawing a statue in great detail, for the 4th day so far (as he said). In reality it was REALLY 3D! It seemed as if it was going out of the sheet of paper.Sorry for the poor composition, but I just couldn't take a good shot with my hands all shaking and almost no light.
Unfortunetally I have to admit there is quite a lot of photoshop there, adjusting hue and saturation (yellows and blues), a bit boosting the contrast up and lighting up, but that's all.

I cant believe you took a picture of him! Not in a bad way---I met him when I was visiting the MNA up in NYC---I'm more than positive its the same man---the way he's working and the material he's working with is similar to the way I remember--besides the way the back of him looks.
That's absolutely an amazing shot and I'm just thrilled to see that some one captured him and his work. I sat down for about 30 minutes admiring him and his work and asking all sorts of questions....I'd say he was one of the many people to encourage me to study anatomy.

I would'nt call it a poor composition...I like that you can see the artist working. I'm not going to comment on the drawing itself, since it was another artist's work. The depth-of-field, bringing clarity to the artist's hands is quite nice. I love that everything else is blurred. the color of the board, pencils, hat and the whites in the photo create a somber but relaxing palette. I really like this piece. Good work, Karsun!

Yeah, no point commenting the artists work, because it wasn't my job, but you must admit, it was nice.

Wow. That drawing is amazing. I would have loved to be there to see it.
