I remember thinking about Nick's childhood trauma and wondering where the hell was the scoutmaster when this was going on. Either Nick was jumped or the scoutmaster was out of the room long enough for those little punks to do that to him. I got so pissed off during this scene.

you know what I should make a fanfiction that tells the fate of the mean scouts (they should be kicked out of the ranger scouts and spanked by their parents and put up for adoption in a reforming orphanage that is made for bad kids to teach them a lesson so brutal that it scars them for life to the point where they learn the error of their ways and feel terrible about their actions and the reforming orphanageΒ feels like a reforming school and prison for bad kids to teach them the error of their ways. those brats give boy scouts and prey animals and children a bad name basically I'm saying they make other boy scouts and kids and prey animals look bad) you think I should make their fates be that they are living miserable lives where they live with an angry wife who yells at them and abuses the guys who were once mean scouts but grew up with crappy lives because of karma biting them in the back or should I have some angry fat fox who was also picked on the mean kids before they muzzled nick and it takes place days after the trap set up for nick and the fat fox is angry at the kids and beats them up and gives them a taste of their own muzzling medicine and the fat angry fox makes the mean kids cry like babies or should I make them grow up as more mature and kind hearted guys who learned the error of their ways as they grew older and apologize to Nick for how they behaved back when they were kids and scouts and they also apologize for being racist and apologize for muzzling him and making him cry and they admit they were major jerks and feel terrible for what they did as kids and I will make it so that there is a scene where there was a mysterious witness adult who saw the whole thing with the fake inittiation and tells on the scout master and the scout master spanks the brats and kicks them out of the ranger scout troop and then it cuts to years later when the more nicer more matured adult versions of the scout bullies looking back at their evil past back at that school where the meeting was and the adult versions of the scouts feel so much remorse for what they did that they cry and say man we've been cruel beyond imagination to that poor fox Nick Wilde we are monsters (cries) why did we have to be so racist and prejudice why didn't we give him a chance (cries again) we gotta apologize to Nick but we shouldn't expect him to forgive us or accept our heartfelt apology especially because what we did was unforgivable (sniffles)

I think that Nick was given an invitation with a fake meet-up time to ensure that no authority figures would be present.Β It probably wasn't even the whole scout troop there, just the ones who didn't want him around.

Well, here's what I've got so far:
-A criminal figure from Nick's past comes back to haunt him, compromising his position in the force and testing his relationship with Judy.
-Nick and Judy find their respective mates, or further realize their feelings for each other (prejudice against inter-species relationships could be another thing to explore).
-A new version of the Night Howler drug has made its way onto the streets, triggering a wave of gang violence.
-More about Nick's past is revealed, such as what happened to his mother.
-Could explore more of the world outside Zootopia, such as how fish and birds have been affected by the
evolutionary process.Β Maybe there is conflict in the outside world and such characters are illegally emigrating to Zootopia, which is how the ZPD fits in.
-This time Judy is the one who loses her faith in the world, and it is Nick who has to convince her that it is still good and worth fighting for (Ginnifer Goodwin's idea).
-The whole crimefighting buddy-cop dynamic could be further used (Jason Bateman's idea), perhaps with Nick and Judy having inspired other animals to follow their example and become unlikely cops.

-Since becoming a cop, Nick has helped Finnick turn pawpsicles into a legitimate business.
-One future villain (or red herring) could be a femme-fatale vixen who is a former flame of Nick's (based off a fanfic I read).

He did have a mother. I was wondering the same thing - if he had a parent (and basic from that flashback in front of a mirror it was quite a loving parent), why did his life turned out the way it did, living on the streets from the age of six? Maybe the amount of bad things in his young life was bigger than we think... Who knows...Β
