pretty good stuff here, though you may wanna tone down the hue of the grass a bit as it goes further from us, since its pretty uniform all over. maybe put some blue down on it. you may also wanna play around with the luminosity of the buildings, since they kinda get lost with the mountains behind em. and tone down the sky just a tad, maybe have a some rays popping through em. i love the limited pallete. great composition and great use of value. always ask yourself, whats the lightest/darkest/farthest/nearest and from those extremes, just work around it. great stuff. would love to see more.

I like it but it can be a little iffy on scale. we assume that the cluster of buildings are huge but really there isn't anything concrete to compare its size to since mountains come in so many sizes... does that make sense? lol. I like the cold desaturated color scheme, one of my favs, but its is kinda weird that you decide to add one red dot and its not really a focal point. the clouds are rockin though, I see why you picked floating metropolis as the next topic! heh heh jk. they've got a great sense of energy which is ironic to me. and the best thing about it is that even though there is another artist influence I see these as being your own. great job.

Cool, you could try switching brushes for both the eraser and paint brush, it could give you even more interesting lines.

Gorgeous =] I love the way the tip of the land just drops and all the dark detailing on the left. I'd leave it as it is now as regards for detailing, i like the effect it has. the only crit i have is that the cloud behind the plain doesn't tail of to the left nicely, i don't know why it just doesn't sit right to me lol
Gorgeous work though =]]

i would say focus on edge control and more dynamic lighting . because your edges are the same , it loses depth. meaning , w/e your focus of your piece is , that should be really sharp and detailed , everything should be rather implied . lighting also helps emphasize your focal point of your environment as well . and I would probably try to push the atmospheric perspective . Repeating similar shapes also helps to give a good sense of scale as well . I know these things are you already are well aware of . its just applying them each time . your shit is tight none the less i always feel weird critiquing someone i have admired through my school years

Thanks for the input! Sometimes I feel there are a lot of known unknowns because I dont keep up with doing bgs frequently. I'll definitely keep this in mind for the next.
Thanks!
