Am I the only one hoping she'll end up welding a double-edged lightsaber? Like Darth Maul's, only blue. She seems pretty proficient with that stick so I think it would work.

It might depend most of the time force users who wield double bladed lightabers have to have fast and acrobatic like speed/movements.
