Description
Nina told Kid to go out and have some fun in the snow while she attended to stuff at the Nook. Kid wasn't sure what to do while she was away so he went for a small walk in the forest. It wasn't long until he stumbled upon a Wyngling's hideout. There was a little banner hanging from a branch and a snowman near the "entrance". When he peaked inside, he saw a little blue Wyngling, Tinsel was her name. The blue Wyngling popped out of her hiding place, in alert.

"Hey! No one is allowed in here unless I say so", she barked.
"Why? It's just a hole under a tree?" Kid asked.
"Nope! It's a secret hideout! Nobody can go in or see in here unless I say it's ok."
"Let me in, then."

Tinsel shook her head. "No can do. I don't know you at all. How do I know you won't tell anyone about the coolness inside my base? What if you break something?" Kid was a little offended. Kid would never break something in there if it's as cool as she claims it to be. He wrinkled his snout and demanded her permission. "Oh come on! Let me in and I promise not to break anything."

Still, Tinsel refused. She didn't like the way he snapped. "Still no. Sorry, but I don't think you're ready for my awesome base." She sat down on the snow and signaled him away from the tree. Kid twisted his mouth and stomped back in the direction he came from. As he was about to leave, he turned back to see Tinsel go back into her base. He slowly stepped up to the snowman that was guarding the entrance and waited until Tinsel wasn't looking. The second that she looked away, Kid grinned and kicked the head of the snowman off of it's body.

"HEY! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" Tinsel cried from her tree. Before she could exit from her base, Kid ran out there, cackling all the way. He could hear Tinsel chasing him, her collar jingling behind him. "You JERK! YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T BREAK ANYTHING!" Kid laughed, then responded "I said I wouldn't IF you let me in! That's what you get!"

Eventually, the jingling stopped, as did Tinsel, and she turned back to her hideout. Kid walked the rest of the way back to his house with a wide grin on his face. "Heh, serves her right. She should've just let me in. But whatever, that base looked really cruddy anyways." The scene of him kicking that snowman down kept playing in his mind. And the look on Tinsel's face, it made him laugh every time. Kid wondered if maybe that's what it's like to play with others. He couldn't wait to tell Nina about the fun he just had!
