Another of the painted muskrat skulls. This one is my personal favorite and I am strongly considering either keeping it, or painting another nearly identical to choose to keep from. ;~;
These were bought as craft grade, so most have some sort of damage (the only thing I've found though are broken front teeth, they have all the rest of the teeth and the skulls seem to be in near perfect condition otherwise).
Not currently for sale. I'll link here if I ever decide to sell it.

other damage is that he is missing his nose bones

True, they all are though. I think they look equally nice as painted skulls with or without the nose bones though, kinda adds a flow to it or something? o:
Thank you! I'm not sure the exact time, but probably 1-2 hours. My first one took the longest though, since I had to get used to it and I'm out of practice with paints.

I pulled a cow skull out of the river last week and dragged it up to dry off, but sadly its got so much damage. :C I'm dying to do some bone painting too.

My cousins have a cow skull in their pasture they said I could have, but I'm afraid it'll be too damaged by the time I get it for much of anything. :<
