Description Quick headshot gifty for for her birthday/Christmas of her character, Vroenfael. I'm sorry the muzzle is kinda too short and .... any other problems OTL

I know it's a day early, but we're going Christmas shopping again tomorrow (I started this before we left and just finished it up when we got home) so I will be pretty pressed for time and I have other stuff to work on as well, and I'm not even sure if I'll be able to finish those when I planned... It gonna be busy until Christmas is over ouo;

The composition is kinda bothering me with the tongue/bottom jaw Dx

WOW! Thankyou so much for such a kind gift <3
I adore the colours in this, and the fur texture on his face is so soft I want to stroke it XD! I also love how intense his stare is.
However, I must kinda admit that the muzzle is definitely too short - it should be almost twice that length, and it looks a bit too canine - Kroven muzzles don't really taper towards the tip and are generally more square, and the males have some slightly longer hair on the chin. His eyes should also be considerably larger (KDs have larger eyes than most mammals relative to head size, especially Vroen ) His neck fur is also nowhere near as thick as that - his mane is vertical, but the fur on the sides of his neck isn't that long. As for the muzzle, I think I know why something is bothering you - his upper jaw and lower jaw appear to be tilted at slightly different angles if you look really hard - it's not that noticeable, but maybe that's what's bothering you.

BUUUUUUT... Vroenfael, like all other Krovens, does have the ability to take on a doglike form, so this looks like a transition between his usual form and his dog form. ^^ Sorry for sounding a bit overly critical, but I tend to be very fussy about my species, and I must say that you've still done a terrific job - I could never shade his fur like that if I tried for a year, but you did that in a few hours. I love this to pieces and I'm flattered that you chose to draw him. Besides, from what I've heard, for other people, Krovens are bitches to draw.
And I really should have made a reference for Vroen, but I'm afraid I just didn't have time - the innaccuracies are therefore more my fault than yours, sorry.

And I'm so sorry for all the mistakes OTL I've been so pressed for time lately and tired from shopping that I didn't go back and fix many of the mistakes I originally would have if I had more time.. D: Perhaps some other time I can draw one with correct anatomy. xD
The muzzle was mainly bothering me because it's too low on the picture, particularly the tongue and bottom jaw, and it's throwing off the composition, but yeah, the angle of the long teeth on the top jaw was throwing me off, so I tried, but failed there, which makes it look like a different angle ouo;
I know how that is xD I barely have any references of my characters, I plan to change that when I can though, I've already started some references hehe.

And that's ok - they're easy mistakes to make, and as I said, for me it's ok since they're my species, but I've heard their anatomy is tricky to get.

And that might be it. Btw, the teeth are supposed to be rather larger, and on the upper canines, the first pair are longer than the second pair. Just a little tip.
Oh yes, it's such an annoying feeling - you can't blame people for getting certain bits off when you don't have a ref.
