[Now back in the wastelands, Keres, Shady, Scarlet and Waren continue their search.]
Keres: Still no sign of any wildlife, unless I'm mistaken. However, what really surprises me is how that town, Rubyflame Burough, even had a working fountain.
Shady: You're telling me.
Waren: Yeah, it’s hot as hell here.
Scarlet: Remember, the Children of Heaven have access to magic.
Keres: Chances are they must've found some way to make that part of the area habitable.
Shady: Could be.

[A big lump of lava with green eyes looks up from a lava pit.]
Scarlet: Uh, guys? I think we’re being watched.
Keres: (looks over) That's odd... Since when do lava pits have eyes? Then again, Mario's world has leaping balls of fire named Lava Bubbles.
Waren: I don’t think those are Lava Bubbles.

[These lumps of lava with eyes crawl out.]
Scarlet: Are those... (looks at her book) Magma Creeps?!
Waren: If they're made of lava, I can cool these things off.
Keres: Oh yeah, the ice crystal that you absorbed. And that reminds me. (whips out her blaster and presses a few buttons) This bad boy comes packed with all kinds of elements for these kinds of occasions!

[Waren launches ice from his sword while Keres launches a few ice beams at some more oncoming Magma Creeps.]
Waren: (growls) There’s too many of these things!
Shady: (as a bigger one with spikes, a Volcano Creep, emerges next) I got this next one! Everybody stand back...

[Scarlet takes cover with Keres and Waren while Shady does one of Marx's most well known moves... Splitting in half, causing a black hole to emerge and absorb all of the enemies into the black hole, ending them before both halves rejoin, making the black hole fade.]
Scarlet: Whoa...
Shady: What didja think of THAT?
Scarlet: AWESOME!
Keres: EPIC!
Waren: Not bad for a clown.
Shady: Why, thank you.
Keres: (eyes narrow) Wait... Something's not right here.
Shady: Hmm?
Keres: I'm picking up a lot of sadness from close by.
Scarlet: Wait, what?

[Keres looks over from next to a rock, seeing two Husks nearby, these being a male Humalgamate and a female Humalgamate, who seem to be looking pretty miserable as they wander the area.]
Waren: Are those the Husks we've been told about?
Keres: Yeah, but there's only 2 of them.
Shady: Don't be so sure. Sometimes where there's two, there's dozens more.

[The two Humalgamates wander towards a tower.]
Keres: (concerned) They must be where all those high sadness levels are coming from!
Waren: Let’s go after them.
Keres: (flies towards the tower) Yeah, if they're after the seed, they must be trying to find a way to return to normal. Or take it back to their master.
Scarlet: Wait for me!
Shady: And me!

[The group heads into the tower.]
