Envy! So I've been having arguments lately with two certain people who seemed to think Envy was a girl... I got really mad and went home and drew this... Just because a guy wears a skirt, it doesn't automatically make him a girl : /Related content

Everyone refers to him as a he and there are more parts of his physique that suggest he's a boy, first he has definitive muscles, second he has man hands and feet, and last all the other women in the show have fairly big chests if envy was a girl I'm sure he would have big boobs haha

Awesome artwork. I'm a huge Envy fanboy and agree with you that he is a guy. Everyone refers to Envy as a "he" in the manga and both animes. No character question his gender or his appearence. Just let him be. I like him the way he is. Oh and I'm a guy who cosplays him. Rant over XD

I consider Envy a guy, since, he was male in the Anime, though he's pretty much genderless in the Manga series as far as from what I've heard since he does have the ability to change into, well, anything he wants.
*sigh* But honestly, it's really stupid how people mistake Envy for a girl otherwise.. I mean-- just wow. He doesn't really have a female build.
Right off the bat when I saw an image of Envy for the first time, my exact words were: "Oh, he looks pretty cool..! .... Wonder why he wears a skort..."

YES! YES! TAKE THAT, FAMILY, I WIN!!! THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO AGREE WITH ME!!!! I started out reading the manga, where they actually do refer to Envy as 'he', and when i got my friends and family interested, they all tried to tell me that i was wrong, that since he wore a skort and had long hair, Envy was a girl. I have recently started watching the anime, and i don't AT ALL agree with the voice they chose for him. -sad sigh- it's nice to know there are actually reasonable people in the world....

But people think otherwise...Like Travis (Guy who plays Roy) Who told my sister, when she asked, that he thought Envy was a female workout person (don't know what they're called...It's on Youtube). Right when he said that, I stood up in my chair and yelled that Envy was a guy. XD. I will continue telling people that he is a she, even if I have to beat it into them. I just luff Envy that much!

well in the original manga i think hes referred to as neither a boy nor a girl because well, he isn't even human but in the anime hes def a boy, espeacially if you watch the japanese vers, his voice is all boy-ish ^^

What a sexy pic of Envy! I loved his dubbed voice and I like the Japanese voice too. If you buy the FMA DVDs, (I think they are unedited) they also have Japanese audio on them too. If Envy was a girl his chest wouldn't be that flat now would it?

Roy's voice is actually the only voice I can tolerate(I think that was only because I met his VA and he's hot!! O_O)
