Description
This picture was me testing out what kinda of effects I could pull off and also an attempt at working on drawing females (Which I have a harder time with).This picture was actually reallyfun to work with and was another one of my "no real hardline" attempts. I'm gonna be making this one in to prints for X-mas gifts I think.
All done in Photoshop and with Tablet.
took me a couple days to finish this one up but it was worth it (lots of playing with loaded brushes)

Oooooh, I adore the softness of her coloring, especially her hair. The shape of her face and lips are both very appealing, and the actual color palette you used on her is breathtaking. She very much looks the part of an ice princess.

Anywho, I really like how you drew and colored the hair it looks fab. And the ice steam or whatever she is holding looks wicked. She almost looks like she is contemplating something like whether or not to hurt something with her icy flames (or whatever -.-; ) hehe.

The b/g is a really neat and easy to achieve photoshop effect, then it was just some modifications hehehe ^_~

yeesh, not much wrong with this, i can't see anything anyway.
very blue. i myself love the airbrushing style, but i cannot do it myself. alas, i draw. anyway, you did an incredible job on this. i love the hair, so very soft looking, soft is good, soft is sexy. So Says I.

I notice a few things but I'm picky ^_~ I felt like being in a very blue mood, which honestly doesn't happen much, I'm normally a reds kinda gal... hehehe.
That hair... was a PAIN! A horrid SORRID pain... but yes, turned out well hehehe and soft *strokes it and purrs* soft hair nice *comb comb comb*

i'm a very techie oriented person, so when i do color things, they usually end up as metal greys and silvers, with electric blues mixed in... depends on the character actually. one guy has a wardrobe of maybe 3 colors, but he has blue dyed hair... another guy has 7 different long-coats... lotsa black on him. the lead female character wears warm colors, and has thick red hair that goes to her knees!
yes, hair can be a pain, especially when shaded like that. i myself still haven't decided how to shade hair. i know how, but can't decide.

I'm always working on my coloring and shading. I've still yet to decide on a specific way to do it because everytime I work on a picture I do it in a slightly diffrent way, testing out things and attempting effects that I've seen done on others artwork.
I'm not really good with metallics, but sometimes I can get a good couple effects done. I'll post a angle w/silver dragon pic I did a while ago in the next little while. The effect of the dragon being metallic (although small) is probably the best metallic color effects I've done... as far as I'm concerned *laughs*
Hair can be as much fun as it can be a pain in the arse. ^_~

if you look in my gallery, you'll see a series of pictures titled Neo-Duster 2, where i designed a long coat... anyway, i spent 18 hours on the coat and girl wearing it, but 20 minutes on the boots she's wearing, plus color.
i got more comments about the boots than the coat. but these boots are metal plated, so thats how i do that.
hair is both good and bad, having long hair is a pain, i'm at the point of 'chewing my hair while eating' length.
alas, we cannot win in our lives.

I don't mean to sound ignorant but... that would have taken me like... 2 hours max... diffrent specialty points... the boots on the other hand, probably would have taken me alot longer *nod nod nod*

eh, my hair is down to my... neck? i don't know anymore.
only when the bleached out ends rub against my neck and jaw do i curse it. i just started growing it out, so the front hair isn't long enough to tie back easily or loosly, only with a thight tail w/ hairspray does my hair stay in place.
as far as drawing... a lot of things take me awhile, the pic Honor Guard, i'm at about 20 hours in, about 1/3 of the way done. (rough, clean, color.) it also depends on how large the canvas is, i draw on 4500h x 4000w at 600 dpi, my nice 8x12 intous is wonderful...
i refused to put any image of myself on devart, photogenic i am not.
