Description I'm in such a good mood
Best mood I've had in weeks I think.

Sometimes I make life so hard for myselve, and only make things worse.
But you can always give yourselve a second chanceβ™₯

What is this.
This is the first time in my entire life that I've used watercolours.
Well, perhaps besides some school assignments from primary and highschool, but that doesn't really count :u
I know it fails tremendously, but it could have turned out worse.
It was so much fun to do!
I hardly ever draw 'traditional' which is a shame.
Especially when I want to go the an art school, digital art is not enough!
Her head is absolutely enormous, and the pose is so cliche.
But I really enjoyed it, and I hope I can improve with this!

The next time I'll use watercolours I'll look at some tutorials first, I really had no idea how to use them

I think this is really pretty! You have beautiful, rich colors in this. The best way to learn any new medium is just to play around with it and have fun, and figure out what works for you. Tutorials are a good starting point, but ultimately it comes down to whatever you enjoy doing. :3

Yes, I just used white watercolour c:
I had no idea about the design of the deer when I started painting

Am I supposed to leave the paper blank when I want something to be white?

if you do a 'real' aquarel like the old masters, yes. there isn't supposed to be white aquarel paint even. at least the people that know much about paint told me you shouldn't use that. but nowadays there aren't really rules for painting anymore. but from origin you're supposed to leave the paper blank (:

but he, just do what makes you feel comfortable while painting. if it's a nice painting in the end, who cares? maybe it's good to learn it though, if you're thinking about art school.

't is geen verschil. 't is gewoon de vertaling van aquarel in het engels
tenminste dat denk ik dan. als ik het over mn eigen art heb schilder ik altijd met aquarelverf maar ik noem het watercolor.
