A frown wormed it's way onto your lips as you stared at your reflection in the tall mirror that sat in your room. Why did you're family have to be on the chunkier end? All the other girls you saw were so thin compared to you. A few tears slipped down your face as you looked at yourself more. Being heavier set was one of your insecurities. When you were little, the other kids would make fun of you and call you terrible things. Eventually as you grew older you hardly got teased or bullied for your size, but people would sometimes stare for a few moments, which made you feel terrible. You were so lost in your thought you failed to hear heavy footsteps approaching you.

"Looking in the mirror again?" Came a gruff voice from behind.

Startled, you jumped and quickly whipped around to see the owner of the voice. You placed your hand over your heart and took a few breaths to calm it's racing beat.

"Logan, you need to stop sneaking up on me like that!" You exclaimed.

Logan, also known as the Wolverine and your boyfriend of three years, often appeared behind you randomly when you were doing something, effectively scaring you every time.

Noticing the freshly fallen tear stains that lined your face he cupped your cheeks and wiped away the tears with his thumbs. He hated seeing you cry. His heart would ache whenever he saw the crystal drops of water slip from your eyes and down your face.

"Why are you crying, (y/n)?" Worry shone in his eyes.

"I-it's nothing." You bowed your head, (h/c) locks covering your face.

Logan sighed and he tucked you hair behind your ears gently. Gentleness isn't something people would normally expect from the Wolverine, but when it came to you he was a big cuddly teddy bear. You could literally hug him for hours and he wouldn't do anything about, just let you hug him until you were satisfied.

"Please tell me, (n/n)." He persisted while gently lifting your face to look at him.

Crossing your arms over your chest, you debated on whether to tell him or not. You knew even if you denied to tell him he would still get it out of you oneway or another. With a sigh of defeat you said two words and that was all he needed to hear to know what the problem was.

"...My weight." Your eyes began to burn as more tears began to fall.

Logan sighed as he hugged you close. This had happened multiple times before. He would find you crying because of your weight. He knew it was one of your big insecurities so he always careful with what he said.

"(y/n)..." He rubbed your back and waited for you to start speaking.

"I'm just sick of being the over weighted one of the group. A-all the other girls are s-so thin a-and pretty, but th-then there's me!" You cried, hugging Logan tightly.

"(y/n), just because you're a bit bigger doesn't mean you're any less beautiful. So what if other girls are thin? You're more cuddly and cute then any of them ever will be."

"No, I'm not...." You sniffled and hid your face in his strong chest.

"Yes, you are. I wouldn't lie to you, (y/n)." Logan sighed.

Silence filled the air as you both held each other.

Sighing again Logan lifted your face and placed a sweet, comforting kiss on your lips. "I love you."

Your lips quirked up slightly. It wasn't that often that your boyfriend would say that and it always made you happy when he did. Kissing him back you smile increased some. "I love you too, Logan."

"I want you to stop thinking about your weight, because to me you're perfect." He smiled a little, placing another kiss on your forehead.

"Thank you... For always being there when I need you." You snuggled closer to him.

"Anything for you, (y/n). How about we go watch a movie?" He suggested.

"That sounds nice."

Getting up, you both made your way to the living room where you spent the rest of the evening watching movies, eating pizza, and sharing sweet kisses until you fell asleep.

Quietly Logan placed the blanket from the back of the couch on your sleeping form. He gently began stroking your hair.

"No matter what your appearance may be, no matter how big or small you are, I'll always love you for all eternity." He murmured lightly, kissing your hair before following you in a blissful sleep.
