WHUT?An original character that's NOT from my webcomic...
IN MY GALLERY?
Haha, this actually a character we had to create for my Character Design class.
We got to design our own superheroes, HOW COOL IS THAT?
Her name is 5iveStar and I think she's actually been floating around my head for awhile now, since she was inspired by one of my all time favorite songs!: [link]
I think she's sort of a Superman-esque alien with sparkly hair, since I've done sketches of her flying and carting off huge meteors.
I also see her as sort of a hen-pecked superhero.
She's always being criticized by old ladies about her monster fighting skills while horny, chubby comic nerds are always criticizing her figure. Like saying her boobies smaller than Wonder Woman's or Emma Frost's and that her hips/butt are too huge...

This has caused her to become somewhat disgruntled and jaded.
Oh, and she's also kind of a slob and pretty lazy. The mayor has to call her communicator alteast seven times to get her to wake up from her naps.

Hmm, well I did look at a lot of Katie Rice art for inspiration on her design! But I didn't think of Silver so much, except one kid said she kinda looked like Kim Possible.
And have you met a girl named Tiffany Ford? She was a Calarts student last year but transfered to Northridge this year, she's got a pretty cool style and it inspired her design a bit. Check her out!: [link]

I think the line of action of her pose and her smooth design kind of made me think it was Stephen Silver influence, which isn't bad at all. I love his drawings.

I've been studying hers and Brainna Droughard's work to better understand lines of action and fluid poses.
But Silver is another man I admire, I studied a lot of his figure drawings when I was working on my Calarts portfolio.

That is a neato idea! But, if it isn't real schoolwork, then I might feel like I should be working on something with priority like my comic or commissiony type stuff :\ (i already have a really bad habit of starting on new projects when I already have incomplete ones that deserve my attention). I have a blonde super hero named starwind. (But she was a hero on another planet.)
She was my first oc and she was soooo mary sue in the start.
Her name didn't even match her powers! (She's a breed of alien called a sync and they have control over sound as well as a extreme weakness to it.-Starwind?!-Puh-lease!)
Oh and just so you know I'm not comparing!
There a lot of differences between her and 5ivestar.
Like 5ivestar is an earth super hero who is henpecked for her awesome work and beauty! -Iv'e never seen a super girl quite like that!-She's so unique!
I love her! And I wish my old oc could be half as cool.
-I just think it's cool that we both have heros that are blonde and have star in theyr'e names! (Although I really need to change my oc's name- like I said earlier it doesn't fit her!)
