Disclaimer: I don't own anything (If I did this picture had became in real for sure D:! xD) the caracters belong to Craig Bartlett :3Hi everybody! ^___^ I'm here again with a new HA! art, yahoo!
This time it's based on 'The Patakis', the awesome spin off of Hey Arnold! focused on our amazing Helga G. Pataki and which never was aired unfortunatly ;___;! (Curse you Nick, curse you! >(!) As the most of us know, in the series Arnold and Helga had had stormy moments, have broken up (Nooooooo!!
) and he moves on (double noooooooooo!!! ) making Helga the star of the series :3Then this picture features the last chapter (or at least one of the lastest chapters. I think xD) of the series, Craig Bartlett himself said that in one chapter of the Patakis Helga would looking for Arnold wherever he had left <3333 And I wanted to draw this scene of this chapter <3 Helga finds Arnold and inmediately she runs into his arms and crying, she apologizes for the arguments, the fights and everything <333(Btw, look at the detail of the cap dropping off her head and showing her bow! ;D xD) Arnold hugs her trying to calm her down and says that everything it's okay and that he loves her or something (I didn't imagine the rest of the talk xD) and then they make up and get together again for ever and ever and ever. AWWWWWWW!!!! <3333333 xD
Now let's talk about the picture tecnically xD, It was my first time drawing them as teenagers, so they look wierd and fat ;__; xD Specially Helga, I don't like so much how I draw her this time ;____; She looks a little weird and it seems that she is still a kid ;____; But I did my best to draw her, I couldn't did it better sorry ;_____;!!! xD They only thing I love absolutely of the pic is Arnold's expresion <333 Awww he looks so sweet and more mature at same time, don't you think he's completely cute? (L)
But despite of all I hope you like the pic anyway guys ^____^ Review and fav if you like it please yes yes?? =3! I'll be working in more stuff this weekend

It's too bad "The Patakis" never saw the light of day! Doing a spin-off centered around Helga and without Arnold sounds like a great idea, but sadly one of the reasons why it was rejected was that having Arnold move away would have been too sad, and therefore, it takes away the main focus of the whole series! Helga can't live without Arnold, and neither can the other kids! He puts the Hill in Hillwood!

i imagine thats how the pataki series would end, on a light happily ever after note as i read a bit about it since she never sends her letter to him she keeps them but there was meant to be that finale episode where she goes to meet him.....ooooh we can keep petitioning that it happens xoxoxoxo

You know, Cassie wrote a story on what she thinks might have happened for the series finale of the spin-off, of Arnold returning and getting back together with Helga, and I can definitely see it happening. I think I'll make note of this in the new essay I'm doing.
I think I would have loved to see this show because I'd like to see how Helga looks and sounds as a teen. And the same goes for the rest of the Patakis. And Helga is such an awesome character, she deserves to have her own show. I think that because Arnold had a turn as the star of his show with Helga as the costar, it would help with Arnold out of the picture for a while because The Patakis was clearly meant to have Helga be he star, not the costar, and that couldn't be done if Arnold was there.
Also, I really do think a break up would be good for Arnold and Helga because they need to grow up more and learn from their romance and past mistakes. They need to patch them on their own before doing them together. They need to spend some time away and apart from each other, and Helga especially needs to realize that she doesn't just need Arnold to help her define herself, and there are other people out there that they could try to be with. But there is no one out there quite like them, and I think Arnold would have meant what he said back in San Lorenzo. As they grow up and mature more, their love would only intensify, but even when they broke up, they would never stop loving each other. In breaking up and trying to be with others, it would also be good because when they are finally grown up (at least when they reach their late teen years), they will realize even deeper that they are truly meant for each other, then they'll never break up again!

And yes I agree with you ^___^ Althought I don't like the idea of them breaking up I think that they need to mature and realize that he can't love anyone but her and the same for her :3 I would have liked to see something like this happening in 'The Patakis', In general, I would have liked to see 'The Patakis' xD I'm really interested in seeing a Helga who has dated Arnold and had broken up with him and althought everything she still love him OwO Curse YA Nick >___👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Yeah so would I. The idea initially made me upset, but the assurance that Arnold and Helga will eventually get together does make me happy, though like I said in my essay, it would be nice if fans of the pairing actually saw it happen. I'd like to see Helga and the other kids as teens, it sounds like it would have been cool.

I'm glad you find the lines neat OwO!! those are made with the pen tool and that's because they look neat xD If you take a look to my following arts you could see that the lines are a complete mess because they're made with the tablet xD It's faster and I can work better with it OwO!

i would hate to see Arnold and Helga broken up
but obviously if they were to make up and live their lives together in the end, then i would love it

Yeah, the only reason which make me think that it's no so bad that The Patakis have never been produced it's Arnold and Helga breaking up and not being a couple in the series xD But anyway Craig Bartlett himself said that at the end of the Ptakis they have would been a couple again because they're meant for each other <3333

Actually this is so cute! Maybe your Helga look a little like she is still a kid, probably for the height you did, and for the clothes she use, but anyway is a beautiful drawing, good job. ^^

He lifts her chin looking into her eyes, watching the tears slowly roll down her cheeks. "We were kids and we were too young to understand the things we understand now, I never forgot you and I never will, you are always in my mind even while I was away." His thumbs wipes away her tears.
"There is nothing to forgive"

"I forgive you because I still love you!!!" Both stares at each other in shock, Helga for the fact that he still loved her even after they broke up and Arnold for not believing he just told her that.
"Y-Y-You do?"
He nodded then smiles down at her, he wrap his arms around her waist, pulls her in for a hug and whispers in her ear causing her to have goosebumps and her heart beat quicken "I still love you Helga"

And yes, they look a little fat ;___;! in the series Arnold and Helga are slimmer ;___;! xD and I'm totally obsessed with the fact that they have to look exactly like the series xD I love realism <333 xD And I try everything to make Helga look elder, I draw her head and her arms bigger, I added her breasts...;____; I think she looks younger because she's leaned because she have thrown herself into Arnold's arms xD and maybe because of the bow too ;___; but the bow HAD to appear in the draw ;__; it's symbolic! D:! xDDDD

Absolutely yes! ;_; I wanted The Patakis to be produced, it would be awesome to see Helga and the rest of the hang as teens (Curse you Nick! >(!) But it's really really difficult to happen ;____; I'll be happy if they make The jungle movie at least :3
