First off, I want to apologize ...This was supposed to be finished in August, but school started back up and there were family matters that needed to be tended to... This drawing was in the works since mid August (like around the 19th?). And boy... let me tell you, the background idea took forever to decide on (even though it doesn't look all that great). Despite my dislike for the background, I like how it turned out!

Like I said in my other Splaoon drawing I'm hooked on Splatoon 2 (yes I used the same pun, pls don't judge ...)!
I love Marina's design! It's such an ambitious character design for a "bab game", but if I'm being honest I like Pearl's personality more, the two of us have a lot in common (no I don't have a huge forehead...), more of the sense of where we grew up. In conclusion, I love them both equally!

Fun fact: I was originally going to redraw the vinny inkling design I came up with, but ended up deciding that drawing Marina or Pearl was a better choice. The rest is history.

Time from start to finish: More than 14 hours (Sketching and idea making included)
