I totally love her personality, she's strong but not overpowered, just like Percy 
She and Percy argue a lot but deep inside, they like each other. I bet she'll comfort Annabeth and help her find her boyfriend :3
That shield is supposed to be Aegis, a replica of Athena's chest protector. The head of Medusa is in the middle of it. My little brother suggested that the snakes make out the whole shield and it looked really cool and spooky so I left it like that. I'm well aware it's not looking like this, same for her clothing and spear, all my imagination. Wasn't sure if she actually even has a necklace because she's been to Camp Halfblood for only one winter or so before she left again...
Thalia is a daughter of Zeus but in the third book she joins Artemis and now is a hunter (that's what the moon and her silver jacket are for..ah, and the tiara on her forehead). The symbol on her shirt is from here: www.emp.de/bin/shop.php?prog=s… and btw, her hand is in the right direction, she's throwing her spear pretty soon so she has to hold it like that. I know it looks strange but the hand just didn't work out in the other position so yeah...

Edit: I changed her hair, she now has short hair as it is described in the boooks and I adjusted her legs -which weren't even. Her eyes are also different now and I made her bigger so she would resemble the other's height. Plus, I now added her "pinecorns" alias freckles
vs. dun dun...

I like the idea of the flat part of the Ægis being made entirely of Medusa's hair. I've never seen it represented that way, but it's very appropriate. Having more snakes makes it look creepier, which helps explain the potency of the Ægis' fear-inducing powers.
...but I'm not sure about the position of Thalia's spear. I get that it needs the head and lighting-bolts to be up high, to balance out the composition, but it doesn't make any sense for a warrior to hold her spear-point upside-down and behind her. If her hand were gripping the spear point-up (still at the same angle), I think her pose would look more natural.
I like the Green Day shirt. I almost didn't notice the Hunter-tiara, but I like that too!

And yeah, you're right ^^. The hand should be the other way around but back when I drew this picture, I was still (and still am, actually) crappy at hands and wanted to avoid drawing it the other way since it just didn't want to fit
