Name~ Pindrop
Nicknames~ Pin, Pin-Pin (And any strange nicknames his mother gives him.)
Mother~ Pinkie Pie
Father~ Pokey Pierce
Personality~ Pindrop is most definitely Pinkie's son, as he is one confusing pony. He usually gives off this energetic, happy, bouncy personality like his mother, but is very quiet and doesn't like to speak up much. Which is weird, since his talent is calming down crowds, or if you want, yelling at ponies to shut up when at a public event so another pony can begin to speak. His talent never made much sense to anyone else either, so just don't question it.

However, Pindrop is also very sensitive and can get social anxiety, and sometimes gets major mood swings, mostly going from super happy to super depressed and mopey in the matter of seconds. Interestingly enough, it's usually when he's depressed that he is his most talkative. Just be really careful when talking to him, and he should be fine...
Talent~ His talent is literally shutting other people up.
Other~
His normal appearance is, oddly enough, duller then when he is feeling sad. The single exception would be his eyes, as when he is normal they are a bright magenta, but when depressed they are significantly duller. His hair also fluffs up. Why it does that, nobody knows.
Family Background~
Pinkie Pie knows everybody in Ponyville, so of course she knew Pokey Pierece. Since Pokey baby-sat frequently, the pink party-pony frequently came to him for advice for when dealing with the Cake Twins, and the two would sometimes swap stories about all the trouble their charges would get into. All in all, pretty good friends. But Pinkie was friends with everybody, so she didn't consider their relationship super-duper special. Pokey, however, wished that their relationship was super-duper special... He had fallen in love with Pinkie's quirky, cheerful ways and longed to tell her that, but probably thought that Pinkie wouldn't be interested in a romantic relationship, least of all with him.

When he told his best friend, Thunderlane, about his crush on Pinkie, Thunderlane was in a playful mood and started to tease Pokey about it, and even got up and started to look for Pinkie so he pretend to tell her about his best friend's crush. Pokey tried to stop him, but it's hard trying to hold back a huge, muscular Pegasus. Thunderlane eventually found Pinkie, but before he could say anything Pokey burst upon the scene, and asked to talk to Pinkie in private. She agreed, oblivious to the glares that Pokey was giving to the smirking Thunderlane.

After a few awkward "how are you" and "nice day we're having"'s, Pokey grew too flustered and began to walk out. However Pinkie caught him and asked him if this was about his crush on her.

"Wha-what? You knew?!"

"Yup!"

"Why didn't you talk to me sooner about it?"

"The question is why didn't you come talk to me sooner about it, silly."

"I-... can't argue with that."

And so, the two started to date. A year later, the two married, with Pinkie having possibly the hugest, craziest wedding reception ever, inviting every single friend she made, ever. And when you're Pinkie, you probably made a lot of friends. Fast forward a few years later, and Pinkie was pregnant with their first child. Oddly enough, Pinkie seemed to be more calmed and relaxed while expecting, not super crazy and wild, like many ponies expected her to be. In fact she was often the one who was calming Pokey down when he started freaking out over her. He nearly passed out with worry when she went into labor and gave birth to their son. After the foal was handed to her, Pinkie looked around and said, "Hey! Why is it quiet in here all of a sudden? I swear I could hear a pin drop!" Which gave Pokey the idea to name their first-born "Pindrop".

Luckily Pokey learned his lesson by the time Pinkie became pregnant with their second child, though apparently not much because this time he did pass out with worry when she went in labor. She gave birth to a weak little unicorn colt, who Pinkie said reminded her a bit of her sisters. She named him Rock Candy, after one of her favorite candies, and the special rock candy necklaces she exchanged with her sister, Maud. Her husband sighed, relieved. Certainly this would be their last kid, right?

Oh, how so very wrong he was.

Pinkie gave birth to a healthy, slightly chubby baby girl, who definitely got most of her momma's looks. She named her Sugar Pop. Pokey never learned exactly why, but it worked. And, as far as both Pinkie and Pokey know, she was definitely their last kid. Hopefully, at least.

Eh, so I decided to go with PokeyPie, sue me.

One of the reasons I went with PokeyPie was because I wanted to name one "Pindrop" and make it a pun. I'm so clever.
