Super cheap/easy monster sheet this time! Now I have all the hard ones left haha :'DHe kinda appeared more smoke-like than ink-like as I would have liked, but I think this still gets the idea across
Darklings are mostly an original concept, but I borrowed the name from The Fire Within series (aka The Last Dragon Chronicles...which I am not caught up with ;; ). I liked the idea of there being these creatures that were known to rival dragons, and then I thought, why stop there? It's the being to rival all monster beings! ...hence why they're pretty much extinct

Yesss I love these guys so much, such dastardly little life-suckers~ And I think you did an awesome job of making them look inky, the one pictures definitely looks more like he’s swimming through the air rather than simply floating.
