mostly hand stitch, if it's a long straight seam i use the machine (hemming skirts etc) but i'd say at least 90% of it's by hand

I've found that hand stitching just turns out better for me, so I was curious.

depends how teeny weeny the piece i'm sewing is. the bodies are all blanket stitched cause they're felt.

that would make it simpler. I did something weird with my girl since I was painting her face - just gathered the fabric behind her head sewed it shut.
