This is for 's Re-design challenge!The challenge was to re-design Spongebob squarepants: [link]
So I decided to change species entirely, and turned Spongebob human! It was a fun exercise, and am pretty happy with the results xD

This is quite different but still adorable` I like how the redesign still keeps the overall dorky/naive yet cute nature of Spongebob's Design. I really like how you incorporate the sponge part of his design within his hair! It is also refreshing not to see another doll-up/pretty boy version of him`

Thanks! During this challenge I kept seeing different ways to draw what essentially was the same square yellow sponge character, so I decided to take it in a different direction. I'm glad you enjoyed it
