Description
For contest. I drew her charater Ai.I tried to finish this up as soon as possible. She's had a rough week.
But I haveta wonder why the hell I choose ai. She reminds me of vocaloids which are awesome. And she's a cat which I love. But her outfit is so DAMN HARD to draw. Oh well... I hope you enjoy.

I realy like this, the thin clean lines really add to the image.
the ony thing that takes away is that the shadow gives depth, but is seen both above and below her legs which makes it look like there is no ground so she looks like she is just floating there

I wouldn't say it looks bad. just kind of awkward
I would suggest using a pose that appears more natural floating, using the shadow to give the appearance of a floor(by having the shadow start at the point she would be touching the ground and getting smaller as it gets farther away), or with the background that you have you could simply omit the shadow.

Ahhhhh... I think I see what you mean. I might try to change the shading a bit but I'll keep that in mind.
