"I like you - but you don't like me, don't like me, don't like me..."well, yep. X)) I think I caught my muse - and she has wings, tail and fangs. well, that is probably 'cose my muse - suddenly! - a dragon.
yess, night fury, no less. ahaha)) 'cose second pic in three days! =333
BTW - grass - this is just... catchy. X)) to draw grass in such style..
and about this picture - weeeell... I was surfing through pictures about the anatomy of night fury, then I was looking through collections of groups... some concept was born in my head. =3 but in the end - well, I have.. this.
The girl here - weeeell... that's me. =3 yep, I wear glasses and my hair is braided)) it's just comfortable! =3 I like dragons very much - Eastern, Western - doesn't matter.
I'm also an air creature in my soul - so I love dragons - they have wings which I haven't...About the dragon - well, yeeeep, this is Eli - just because he's interesting and rather beautiful. And night fury) (yeeep, I like him). and - holy Sh... errr... well, don't know is the coloring right - every new page is different. =__= even eyes. so I tried to combine ALL that... errr... shades of violet, grey, blue... so on. T_T
well, may be that's why he don't like me.. X))) or just he doesn't like humans. or he feels that I want to hug him and... well, I told ya - i love dragons)) =3 may be for him it's TOO much - anyway, if I remember right - he can read minds...

and if you wanna ask why he's still beside me and didn't fly away or gave me a piece of his mind about hugs... well, that's probably today is my Birthday)) X))) yeees))) so - I made a wish to my fairy-godmother...may be that's why he is still here.
but afraid he anyway don't like me(((

I wanna to touch or even huuug a dragon, because I love dragons! *.* and here I see one: oh, that an opportunity!... and Eli is annoyed, because strange unknown girl dare to have such intention. but he is a dragon - that's why without a permission I won't dare... and because this is my pic and that was MY B-day, dragon can't just go away. but annoyed he is, oh yes. and I'm happy - because there are dragon!

It started when I wanted to draw something for myself. and last pic was with Toothless, so I decided to draw myself and the dragon. to make my wish true - I want to fly on a draagon... *.* ..but then I thought: how can proud, independent dragon let some human to ride on him? well, so I sit beside the dragon.

It's really good that you have such intricate concepts behind your works
I think that whole idea of dragons being a 'proud' race has kinda flown over the head of a lot of dragon fans. Anyway, it's a wonderful piece of art, and even better thanks to all the thought you've put into it

Yeah being a dragon would be pretty awesome, night Fury obviously being the most awesome. I think with a little bit of bioengineering, and some genetic recombinant theory, it should be possible to make a dragon.....

This.. This is Eli!! I really like the attention to detail you did for him on the birthmark and the thing about Eli is that he's never drawn the same. Yeah it confuses me too but it adds a certain special thing to the novel, even though it gets confusing to draw him.. That's so cool! No one ever looks at my anatomy pages.
You're an air creature in your soul? Well that's funny because Eli is my soul, he's based on me.
Yes his eyes are annoying for me.. But I generally take the color from the part that's not shaded or highlighted. Same with the skin color.
I love your style of how you colour though, like the texture, it's unique and awesome!!.. And your grass is awesome too

Well, Eli - as I sad - is interesting... so I draw him. =3 ...and really - your dragons gave me inspiration and became my muse! X))) really)))
about the anatomy pages - I was using them studying furies closely... but it would be cool if ou add some pages with poses - sitting, laying, maybe prepared to jump... referens pictures - to understand how works his muscles, his skeleton - and so on))) they have unique anatomy...
wow... yes, I was rather confused - one time Eli is violet - second - more blue-ish, and then they fly with Nezurik - even gray, and light gray! ...and the second page - black.... @_@ and eyes - yellow, green, green-yellow, dull green.... aaaarrr, my head is gonna blow! *banging her head against the wall*

Oh yes, good idea! I shall make some poses and stuff for Eli, the muscles are intricately laid out all over the body and there's a big mass of muscle for the wings. It was really hard figuring out where to put 4 shoulder blades.. 
Maybe I should make an average of colors for Eli with the poses... Hmm
And you're not getting carried away with the zodiac thing, I'm really interested in my spiritural side too, that's why I'm going to Mull after I finish work at Dreamworks Animation, and how do you think I got my characters for this? Well I had a dream about them and remembered them long after... Strange. I mean, I'm Cancer but I love Air and flight just as much as water. (Now I'm getting carried away
