Kovu's patrol was at sunrise. When he rose, Simba and Kiara were already gone. He sighed. Kiara hadn't been around much lately. She was taking her new responsibilities very seriously, but in the meantime she was neglecting her family. Kovu stepped out of the cave and into the morning light.

He had barely made it down the rocks when there was some rustling nearby. He turned and, sitting right next to him was his beautiful daughter.

"Good morning, Daddy!" she said brightly.

"It's way too early for you to be awake," Kovu said to her affectionately. "Why don't you go back and sleep in with Grandma Nala?"

"But I can't sleep," she protested. "Can't I come with you?"

He looked into her eyes and felt his willpower melting away. "I don't suppose it would hurt to have any extra set of eyes on patrol with me," he said. He couldn't say no to that face.

I just can't stop designing cubs for Kovu and Kiara. I need help. I can't decide on a name for this one. I was thinking Suki, but I'm not sure. Thoughts?
