A Feykin Minotaur conjures a narcotic cloud inside his own lungs, a relatively hard spell for a neophyte and a sign of talent. He has already attracted a retinue of Departed Wizards wich will guide this talent to greater heights.

No wizard is ever truly alone: from a single haunting to thousands of individual spirits in the case of more succesful magic users, the spell weavers of the Arcanostrum attract the spirits of dead wizards as beacons. This is because since wizards don't follow the old gods, the new gods or raise idols and most of them are not twisted enough to warrant a place in the Abyssal Barrens they have no afterlife to go to. Although ghosts have a limited array of interactions with the real world, the talent that Departed Wizards (as they are commonly known) had in life allows them to move more freely and make their presence more easily known to the living. With nothing but time on their hands this entities roam the multiverse to search for wizards on wich to impart their lifetime of knowledge and experience a glimpse of their previous life, even if its in an indirect fashion.

The creation of an artificial plane to serve as an afterlife for wizards has alwas been a dream of the Arcanostrum and much research has been done about it, and much fiction and speculation written about the subject. Some wizards claim that this could be a reality as soon as in the next few decades while others mantain a firm belief that since nothing in current magical knowledge supports the idea that it will ever be possible it might as well be an impossibility. No matter what the truth of the matter is, in the meantime Departed Wizards serve an important role in wizard societies and are considered citizens.
