No prizes for guessing who got given "Sonic Unleashed" as a 3rd anniversary present at the weekend

)I've got to admit,when I first saw the posters for this game I thought "what the heck have they done with Sonic now?! :/" - having not played any of the games since Sonic 2 on the Mega Drive! However, after playing a demo of this I decided to give it a chance, and after having played it a little over the weekend I've totally fallen in love with it... For all that it's a far-cry from any of the games I played when I was little, it's still sonic, and in an exciting and amazing new world... and the Werehog form is much fun
It inspired me to draw this anyway... although it was only supposed to be a biro doodle... sometimes I get carried away

I just might do that. I downloaded "Cuboid" and that is my latest addiction. Along with "Oblivion."

I haven't heard of either of those. 
The only downside with the unleashed trailer is you don't get to play in were hog mode, which IMO is the most fun part of the game

Well, there are gangs, but it's about a huge explosion, u getting electric powers, figuring out whats going on, and killer twist ending. Plus the game changes somewhat depending on if u do good or evil things.

Oblivion is a huge role playing game where you can pretty much play it however you want.m[link]

Personally I like night but my friend, FAA, is quite good in day and night prefers to do night though

I enjoy the day levels just fine, but they're too fast to enjoy the scenery for me.. I really love the night ones cos you can just take your time and pootle around and run around on all fours! it's great fun

Try by knowing which continent you are on I'm on egg man island first stage day! I haven't played for quite some time

oh right... I've unlocked the icy level, but I'm stuck on it, so going back and doing levels in all the other stages to get more night coins

I feel the same way whenever I see a series re-boot, like Crash or something, and they've completely revamped his design from how cool and original it was in 1996 to a craptastic version.

it's a problem a lot of people our kind of age seem to be having with things at the moment, because so much stuff is getting re-invented, but sadly that seems to be the way to keep the character in the spotlight... if they leave things as they were when we were kids, kids of today would be bored of them in minutes, so everything has to be slicker, faster, snappier, darker, gritter, etc etc... I just keep trying to remind myself though that it doesn't take away from what we had as kids... it just adds a new layer to the franchise

Personally, I love the game.. - it's had some really bad reviews but I think it's great, the demo gives you a good idea of the hedgehog levels, but then at night time he turns into this werehog, who's slower, but you can go around kicking the snot out of robotnick's goons and generally smashing shit up. - there's too much talking in it for my liking (between the pointless "story building" bits between levels, where you go about speaking to people - but they're not long thankfully, and chip, the little guy pops up every now and then to tell you what to do which can get a bit annoying but I'm sure there's probably options to turn that off somewhere... I am grateful for it sometimes so I haven't turned it off yet! lol) but yeah, in short; considering I haven't played any of the games since the megadrive days, and I'm still only one quite an early level, I think it's great.
