Another Final Fantasy Pinup. Maria of FFII, this time around. Amano's art style is gorgeous but sometimes very difficult for me to follow and most of the 3D renditions flat out ignored the original art. I tried to make it resemble her original design the best I could, but there were certainly a few times where I just didn't understand what something was supposed to be and faked it. T_T© Square Enix

Why do not you draw the FF2 Maria PS version next? Is "ff2" The DL password. This is the opening movie version of FF2 PS.

Sorry, but I don't have any plans for redoing any of the characters at this point.
There's still multitudes of ladies that haven't gotten a first drawing yet, and I got a little burnt out on the style after so many. I've still got old sketches for a few floating around, but no current plans to work on any right at the moment.

Maria looks cute in retro style. You did a great job on this, I can't follow Amano's designs either.

Thank you so much! The images available of her are soooo hard to decipher! And her sprite doesn't really look like her drawings, so no help there.

Awesome! I'm digging those kick ass hips. I really love how you were able to keep Amano's design intact and still make it your own. His elaborately awesome clothing designs have always escaped me. Great work!

amano is haaaard. *whine whine* I'm glad you like it, she was a biznatch and a half to do. My husband and I would just and stare at my reference images trying to figure out wtf was going on sometimes.
