History: Slytherin is Susan's most cherished horse, but she won't openly admit it.
Back in Great Britain Susan was taking care of a "crop eating fairy" case with an owner of a farm. The man had had enough of chasing the fairy's with Slytherin, his mare, but coming to no conclusion on the problem.
The farm owner had claimed that his mare had become more and more stubborn when chasing the fairy so he needed them to be done for once and for all.
Susan's interest had peeked when the farm owner had mentioned the mare's name. Slytherin.
But having no time for side chatter she started on her work and awaited the fairy to arrive, leaving out in the open all that a fairy would want to get their tiny hands on.
During that time Slytherin had kept her eyes on Susan the entire time from the safety of her pen.
It was then around 3AM when the first creature appearance happened, to Susan's surprise it wasn't a fairy, but a beautiful white horse.
It looked at her through the trees in the distance while Slytherin had began to pace and scratch the ground rather agitated. Susan had been too enthralled with the white horse to pay attention to the distressed mare and chased the white horse thinking that the fairy case was a simple misunderstanding of a wild horse.
Despite being a highly trained witch, that was a grave mistake the brunette had made. Now she was in a death situation with none other than a kelpie.
The demon had successfully lured her close enough to its lake and now the monstrosity prepared to take her down. Without a bridle to charm Susan had no other choice than to fight for her life against the demon.
Once the kelpie launched for the final blow a white blur came forth between Susan and the demon. In those seconds Slytherin had sunk her teeth deep within the kelpie's chin groove giving Susan time to react and charm the mare's bridle.
Once the bridle was on the kelpie's head the nightmare was over and Slytherin had bravely saved the day. (Up to this day Susan greatly thanks horse owners that leave their equines with bridles on).
Case was solved! It was then that Susan had become far more interested in Slytherin, but how exactly she had convinced the farm owner to sale the mare is still a mystery.

Personality: Slytherin is a mare with iron guts and a cunning mind. Her old owner was a wizard of his time and the mare knows a thing or two about magic, while she can't emit any form of magic she can detect it.
Slytherin carries a strong aura and anyone in her presence can feel it. She is a strong leader but doesn't like being much in a group.
Slytherin only likes being around strong-witted pasture mates and her favorite one happens to be the stern mare Sour Candy .
It's not rare to say that Susan and Slytherin were made for each other. On one hand Susan is a Slytherin down to the very bone, and on the other Slytherin carries almost every trait of being one.
At times it does get a bit annoying at how prideful Slytherin can be as she won't show any symptoms of either being injured or being sick. Susan can't even fathom the idea of losing Slytherin so early on. Thankfully Slytherin is a healthy mare!
Unlike the rumors say, Slytherin has no ill will nor does she have any dark energy inside her. But if one does wrong to her or even thinks of hurting her loved ones then this simple garden snake will transform into the basilisk.
Under saddle Slytherin does anything in her power to perfect her movements and achieve the goal which her rider has set in mind. She doesn't take failure too lightly and if she feels her rider slacking she'll take control of the situation.
It has been noted how loyal Slytherin is to Susan. She will let no one else sit on her back and if they continue to persist then one look of her snake-like eyes will be enough.
Susan gives the Slytherin House 1,000,000 points for this mare!
