I'm re-submitting this deviation in my gallery
I like it much more now, and it's one of the only backgrounds I did, so it would be a shame not to show it.

And what a background it is! I love how rich the colours are without being too much, and how the view gets more dreamlike as you move from foreground to background. All the detail you manage to put in even with such a soft style is great. The figure facing away from the audience while still being in the foreground creates a dual sense of being outside the drawing, simply observing, and of being just inside the frame, coming up behind her. The only real gripe I have is with the cliff she's standing onβat first I thought it was empty air! And even though I then noticed the cliff, she still feels kind of... detached from it. But that might be just me.
Anyway, great work.

Deviantart is really unfair regarding the time I put in each picture ^^ generally the less polished ones are much more commented *sigh*
