Immediately the first thing that came to mind when I read the title and saw the character here, was "immortality".

With this song, it's like he's getting ready to turn the page in the story of his life. He's leaving behind everything he knew and moving forward into something new. He knows it'll be dangerous, but he's done that before. Time, instead, to maximize his skills and simply let things be.
