~CosplayPropMaster - I made this outfit for the Madman Nationals this year and I placed 3rd with her!!I’m very proud of the outfit, it’s not something that everyone would have expected or thought of but I wanted to do this outfit the moment I saw her and I’m really proud of myself for doing a cosplay so close to my heart, I have always loved the story of Joan of Arc and to bring it to life on stage just made it even more special for me.
The armour is all resin cast and is my own blend so that when I dropped the whole thing down onstage it wouldn’t chip or break.
The sword is wood with Jeanne’s moto burned into the wood in French calligraphy.
The outfit is made from materials that resembled the time period is actually had to be made to strip off during the skit.... very very nervous about doing that!! DX
All the chain mail was all handmade as well as I brought over 3000 rings and I still didn’t feel like enough!!!
I’m very happy that I did this outfit for myself and I can’t wait to get some more epic photos of her later!!
