i used to love wearing cheongsam *did i spell it correctly??* and i still like them though i'm not wearing them anymore...hehe...

Wah, so cute. So thats what they are called; Cheongsam.
Anyways..Although its black and stand for a funeral of sort, I think red wouldnt blend in well with the rest of the colours -- unless you can think of another set ofcolours to use.
Between snowflakes or sakura petals in the background, I dont know which is more suitable for a CNY theme. But as the artist you should choice what suits your creative instinct la..
I do think that the pink bricks-like border gowellwith the CNY theme

That's so cool! I was wondering ( like ~Waddin ) if you knew it was teh year of the Pig because the last time I saw a Cheongsam in the year of the pig they color coded it to black and red or black and pink~! So cool! (I said that already but who cares...)

First time to see Black version of Cheongsam, I usually can come with the red color in my mind only. But ur bold design of using different color bring out a unique sense of visual appealing, good mixture touch and the cute pose and expression TT.TT I LIKE IT!!
