This is a drawing I worked extremely hard on for a competition. Kai has such a nice face to draw honestly, so it wasn't hard, just tedious!(I entered this drawing into a state competition for digital art, won 1st place and ended up going to finals in Disney and winning 1st place there as well. It took me by surprise of course! I didn't think anything I did could ever make it that far.)

This is super good! I love the smoothness of the skin and the lighting source reflecting well! And the shadows are super good too! (that's my thing, i always love anyone who pays attention to that lol) I'm also impressed how well you fold clothes; I'm constantly trying to improve on that myself. It's also a good combination of cartoony and realism! As for some critiquing, I would maybe try adding a bit more darker tones in shadowed areas to make the contrast pop out a bit more, like in his hair, adding some black or darker brown shades where there's no light. And to maybe blur out the sharpness of the color of lips going into regular skin like real lips so they seem soft and squishy lol <3 And to do some more with the backgrounds, even if they're not the main focus, they tie the whole picture together, you don't need to add a bunch of detail or else you'd take away from the main focus, you can even blur it out. But just making it look a bit more put together would make it look a lot more on purpose and less like you had to do it. But i really do love this piece, you drew his face incredibly well and I'm faveing for reference lol!
