to make a long story short, I was honestly really bummed out that out of all 4, Spade was the one that had the most eye-catching design or at least just "the one worth talking about", like... aside from Diamond kinda they all felt a bit generic?
I hold nothing at all against kanotynes, especially since they were older art initially for a class assignment and I adore her content, but ... I'm horrifically biased and nitpicky T-T

and yep, much like their kiddos I gave them more "unifying" color-schemes just because I was also bothered by how it felt like they all just blended together into blue, white and green

might add basic personality info/headcanons later? it's late over here atm so prolly not now

and yes. I do plan on drawing the queens too- my own versions of them for the sake of completion and the fact that I already went to the extent of all of these creative liberties so much so that this may as well be some kinda psudo-AU

Diamond
Although generally a decent person and doting father, his worst faults are that he can be too stubborn and bossy for his own good. He can be thoughtless and reactionary but is apologetic as soon as he realizes where he did wrong.
Oftentimes uses jewelry terminologies to describe his people and soldiers, much to the confusion of others and leading many not in-the-know to believe he’s greedy. However, he takes it in stride finding amusement in people assuming he’s a gold-digger and makes a few self-deprecating quips. His personal pet names for his wife and daughter are often things like “my gemstone” or “sweet treasure”.
The most powerful and effective attack-magic user out of the 4.
Heart
The most openly compassionate and emotional of the kings, Heart has very strong beliefs of right and wrong and is almost always the designated “good cop” in an otherwise heated discussion. He is the reason his Hathy soldiers all wear garb resembling his own so that they wouldn’t feel inferior, as well as why Jevil wasn’t sentenced to death because it felt too cruel to put the maddened jester down like an animal.
Has his eccentricities and seen as the most kid-at-heart as well, Heart is also quite flirtatious and often flamboyant, but his true feelings of romance and such is reserved for his bride. Unbeknownst to the others, he’s written several romance books under a pen-name.
Although having some attack and defensive spells, they’re not very strong as he’s more efficient as a healer.
Club
All 5 of Club’s heads are in effect the same person. However, with how common and easy it is for personalities to fragment during development in his race, Club lives day-to-day constantly arguing with himself over just about everything, the self-bickering never ceasing until a unanimous conclusion is met, and even then, it can take hours without someone like Heart or his own queen stepping in to settle is calmly and quickly. To say he’s thankful for such intervention is an understatement
The top head is the most mature and clear-thinking, the two at the middle are aggressive and vain, and the remaining two at the bottom are a nervous wimp and an air-headed sloth.
Though his self-arguments get tedious and stressful, once he’s finally made a tactical or diplomatic decision on his own it’s often a good one. Even if unable to make faster decisions through such indecisiveness, he can be brilliant in defense and strategy.
