Description "Elsie in the Garden" Commission
Fairy painting of a beautiful young girl from the vintage era i was hired to paint/revive her as a fairy in a serene happy setting
with special meaning to my client.
9 x 12 watercolor on watercolor hotpress paper, 2011

I was working from a old vintage head shot photo, it was a bit challenging but a painting i was proud of, really motivated me personally to start painting again.

my clients request wanted
the girls dress like rose petals in pink
i could never get pink the way i wanted to do and tried a rosy
color with a lot of dilluted water to make it less red it kinda worked
