Ohhh... My, my, my... This is amazing! I love the contrasts you get into your work (something I still struggle with a lot...)--the proper amount of dark to set off the light...beautiful! The way you handle light is also lovely, and done so very well! I also agree with ~Callista1981: he does look very heroic!

To do contrast, you just have to decide which part of the picture leaves the impression as being darkest, and then apply your pencil there. With this drawing, I was quite undecided. Because I usually like to make eyes and lips darkest so that the concentration can stay in the face. But in the original photo, his hair looks darker than eyes... Still, I decided to make eyes darker than hair
