Description

A commission for featuring the star-crossed lovers Mike and Teresa, and a sequel to Commission: Howls on the Moor . Following his adventures on the moors of Breizh (Commission: Howls on the Moor (Story) ), the knight was cursed by a jealous Fae to become a she-wolf, fleeing back home to his lover Teresa. To Mike's surprise and relief, Teresa was understanding and supportive of the change of circumstances, and vowed to help break the curse and restore Mike's honor.

The story continues as Teresa defends her lupine lover from the the superstitious opposition of her father's court. Determined to break the curse, they seek out another Fae, a fox-like trickster, Blaine, who agrees to help. Unable to resist a bit of fun, an not entirely able to break the curse placed on the Knight, she instead redirects the magic, causing an unexpected transformation to both Mike and Teresa before vanishing into thin air, leaving Mike a tiny and still female fairy, while Teresa is changed into a man. Together, they continue their quest, and while they are unable to break it fully, they are able to return to a level that allows them to live happily together and start a family.

I wanted to try something new with the composition of this one, illustrating the parts of this story in a stylized format, like a stained-glass window to reflect the fantastical nature of their adventures. As always, Drew's characters are a joy to draw and full of life and colour. Thank you for the opportunity! Let me know what you think!
