Just the type we get in australia.

I'm absolutely sure that by now, you know you spelled weird wrong, or that's what the ladybug species is called. choose: Did you spell weird wrong or is that what that kind of ladybug is called?

I could've sworn I'd seen a yellow ladybug before too here in the states, but maybe I'm just making that up. Great photo.

Put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.. it will not hurt or kill them it slows them down, just enough time to photograph them!

I was thinking about that comment and its a Australian Ladybug Coelophora inaequalis....

You do know there are thousands of different types of ladybugs some in which they have never identified?

amosis55 In reply to KatherineDavis [2009-08-14 01:01:43 +0000 UTC]

We get lots of ladybugs here too... from yellow to black like ~Falloway said, and with all sorts of different spots.

Haha, it's not weird, it's just an Australian Ladybug Coelophora inaequalis

They come in anything from yellow like this one, to almost black.

Ours are normal compared to some of the ones out there. There are these funky pink ones [link]

Nice macro shot though

Ooo thanks, I was wondering why they didn't have spots! The other photo i posted someone said i lied about it being a ladybug, now i can prove them wrong!!

Thanks I did reverse lens
