I made a dragon wrapped around a vase a few years ago and when I looked at it I said to myself, "This is crap. I should make a better one." and boom! Here he is! I had been sitting and staring at my clay for 2 weeks without finding any good inspiration to make something but once I started this guy I just couldn't get enough!Related content

I was debating on the lightning on him, I haven't really decided yet though, I'm just not sure how well I can make it look... In WoW they flash and that gives the distinct lightning feel and I'm afraid if it is just colored that way then it wont have the same feel. I'm making it the green one so I've been looking at the thundering jade cloud serpent to decide if thats the path I wanted to take.

Ah alright. You do know there is a green cloud serpent without thunders aswell, named only Jade Cloud Serpent.

I like the cloud serpents and I can't wait to see this one finished. Also I play WoW myself and I own Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. Took me so long to finally be able to ride it =S

I got Raven Lord few days ago, 400+ runs. My god I hated wow during the farming time.

I was lucky, I got my raven lord at around 40 runs. still don't have the blue protodrake or ashes of al'ar yet

My friend got Alar, though I can't remember how many times he tried. Also he's trfying to get thundering onyx cloud serpent, no luck for him yet. I'm at 196 mounts btw. I have pretty much every mount you can get. There are just a few of the newer mounts I don't have, like cranes, water strider, thundering onyx, normal onyx serpent, the direhorn dinosaur things and the other new mounts.

I used B-mix no grog clay. Its like a mix between porcelain Β and stoneware

You will need a kiln to fire it though, I think this had to be fired at about 1800 degrees F
