this is the most beautiful thing i've seen all day. i legitimately just started crying over this, and i can't tell if it's because i'm stupid or because this is amazing, but i'm pretty positive it's the latter. i didn't grow up in a broken home, far from, but this image still speaks to me. it's gorgeous.

When I first saw this image, it reminded me of stories when somebody escapes from their [broken]home, so congrats on a great title. The colors, especially that red piece in the middle, draw attention to the suitcase, which is central to the image. The composition is ok, but to me the picture looks somewhat "mashed" together, like the figure on the top is pushin everything down. Maybe the close-up is a bit too close - i can't tell for sure now so it is well beyond my competence to critique this aspect.

As it is, a very expressive picture with an exceptionally well-conveyed message, which matters much more than any technical aspects.

First off, this is an incredible photo. It looks like a drawing. I had to do a double-take and make sure that it actually said "photography". Second, this is just such a powerful image. All around, and absolutely amazing piece.
