I find this really uplifting - I feel she's walked a long way through the rain, but she's nearly home and will soon be comfortable and warm. I love this piece

I find this one has a different mood than most I do. It doesn't have the Dark and creepy element to it and is romantic and sort of Victorian. I rarely use faceless or indistinct expressions in my figures in devs. I'm not sure how to qualify it because you can't see the expression on the woman's face. And although the background is more on the dark side its not menacing at all. I like your interpretation of it

Beautiful work hon! Although, I think maybe the water texture could have been blurred a little more. I hope that's not rude of me.

Thank you luv! Of course its not rude...LOL. Yeah I'm not sure about that texture...its the pattern somehow and I played with the blurring both Gautian and Motion blur and I can't get it to do what I like. I could try again but I think I should look for another texture...this one doesn't cooperate with my attempts at twisting it to my will

Another thing to try is to use the different layer styles, for example, Soft Light, Overlay, those kinds of things. But still, if you don't play around with things, you never know what will happen!

Well what do you know...I didn't know how to change a picture into a different type of layer like overlay, etc... and just discovered where the settings are to change that This will make a Big difference as I'm already seeing the possibilities. Thank you for pointing out this option luv

Aww, well in that case, I'm glad to have pointed it out for you. I can't wait to see how you work things from now on then. And you're very welcome sweetie, I hope it helps you.

Its the oddest thing because I only learned how to adjust the setting for my paint brush tool into overlay, but I didn't know how to transform a layer into overlay...quite a different thing and after you mentioned it I landed on the function by pure chance. I didn't know where to look. I've already started playing around with hard light and low light as well

I didn't even realise you were using PSP at the time either, I thought it was photoshop, so when I thought about it I wasn't even sure if you had those options or not! But I'm glad you do, they can make such a big change sometimes.

Thank you! I added that element last and thought it would change the mood completely...its a subtle element but very effective.

Thank you...I seldom use "obscured" silhouettes / figures but this one fits in the background

I thought of flooding it in blue shades because you like that color and after I put the rain and the water texture I thought it would speak to you. I'm so glad its to your taste honey

I looked at the original mood of the pic and how secluded that street looked and thought this begs to be done in watery shades and tones. I'm really happy with the results. Thanks for the appreciation
