And then there is nothing,The cold waves encase you,
Slowly killing you,
From the inside out,
No escape, well only one,
But the remedy was taken away when it began.
The treatment is not available,
At least not for a while,
The sickness continues, the craving,
The need, the need for the antidote,
Ever more required as you slowly die inside.
Humans are social creatures.

i'd say depression/loneliness, which was my first thought, but seeing as everyone else already guessed that i'll take a stab at something else.
Betrayal or abandonment are my two best guesses--while depression is a slow, creeping kind of thing, i feel like this is a direct cause-and-effect thing, based on the first 2 lines--they make it seem as if there is an event that causes an immediate, traumatizing change.
as far as feedback, i like the way you stress the intensity of the emotion by having so little full stops. adds to the mood of the piece, which is rather brilliant, whether you did it instinctually or on purpose

I'm thinking drug use, then again I'm not sure if that would be much too obvious (...plus, quite a few of my guesses in this experiment seem to be of negative things. Oh dear.)
I get the feeling of urgency from this, probably because of how the two big paragraphs are written as single sentences with only a full stop at the end (oh, I'm so technical.) I really like it, it makes it seem much more dramatic!
