Reminds me of Louisiana, during the fall rains. We're in a bit of a drought right now, but I still remember the storms. Even the grass looks like my old home's.

I remember this was the first Piece where I tried to do grass and water, or really even a storm. I'm not sure how I would go about doing it now, but it would never turn out the same as then. I use to love the storms be had here, but as the years pass, they just arn't as good anymore, the weathers shifted too much.

I'm glad to have heard your thoughts, thanks for taking the time to comment.

your art gives me this weird dejavu feeling, like I used to watch you long ago and forot who you were and stopped or something. I know I've looked at this before, yet I see it differently having come here from furaffinity ...I had no awareness of furries then.

I have sheltered others under my cape more than I have been sheltered. Ironic,

perhaps we all feel that way. In sheltering we find shelter by proxy more ore less.

Perhaps we do miss, at least I am pretty sure its that way for many.

Thank you for taking time to comment here too, hahaha.

Wow, I like this one a lot. I think it would be great as a poster. Is there any way you could post/send me/something a higher resolution image (or just submit one to the site) so I could print one/order a print? I would totally be willing to pay you for it. I can't help but stare at it.

I'll have to set aside some time to go back over the painting once I am done working on some current projects for sure.

When I made this, so many years back I didn't really know anything about print resolutions ( not that I know much more now, but a lot more now to actually start the canvas in a printable size to beging with hahah).

I didn't think anyone would like it all that much when I first started.. so its painted in a terrible resolution, I'd have to size it up and basically go over every inch of the picture fixing and repainting all the distortion which is probably why its not in a printable form yet, hahaha.

Don't worry I'll definitely add it to the list of stuff I need to do, I seem to have gotten some of my my muse back, I've not painted a lot the past 3 years, but in the last couple months have gotten 2 or 3 works done!

When I finally get back to fixing it, hopefully it notifies people when I make something printable, if not just check back every couple months lol.

Thanks for loving it ^_^

Oh, I see. That would be excellent; and thanks a lot for the painting itself in the first place. Good luck with all your other projects, too! By the way, what do you use to do your artwork? Do you like using a certain drawing tablet? I've been thinking of getting one, but I'm not sure what kind would be good.

Forgot, if you get a bamboo, and not a intous, make sure to get the bamboo pen tablet version. There's a couple different bamboos, one has just touch capabilities, one with just pen, and one that has both pen and touch. I'd think that the one with pen abilities would be just fine if you happen to get one..

I'm using a very old Wacom Graphire 3, they don't even sell it anymore, It still serves me well though, most peoples tablets have died, but I take good care of mine. I'm not sure about other tablets, but I would suggest not going with anything but a wacom made tablet.

[link]

Wacom has like 3 catagorys for tablets

Cintiq, Intuos, and bamboo

Bamboo are like their budget tablets, I'm not real sure how good they are vs the other tablets that wacom makes, but I for some reason don't like the name and the things sound like gimic kid toys, although I've read some reviews that they work very well, I blame there site for being confusing about that series of products.

Intuous is like a professionals tablet, and far more expensive, but, honestly if you going to be using a tablet its this one you want, The larger the tablet from this category, the more pricey it gets, It depends on how comfortable you are with the drawing area it provides, My graphire 3, has a very tiny drawing space to work with but I don't even notice it anymore.

Cintiq, Just read about the product on their site ,its basically a tablet that lets you draw directly onto the screen. It comes in medium, and large, ones around 900, the others around 2000. I really want the large cintiq myself, but if I had to settle for the smaller one I would do it, just to try it out.. I dream of getting one them. Cintiqs are for those with a lot of cash, and I've heard that people that get them still love using their non-screen tablet just as well.

Ahem anyway... Go for bamboo if you have no money, but if you do or can scrounge up the money, buy a intous instead. Remember to order extra pin-nibs if you get a wacom tablet, the pin tips wear out after awhile.

Still when you do get one of their tablets, set the pen away from the tablet when you done using it, I never set my pen on the tablet when I am not using it. Don't move your tablet around all the time unplugging it and packing it up ext, it wears out the cable. Get Tracing paper, you will think I am insane, but I put one sheet of tracing paper over the surface of my tablet. The pen can still detect just fine through the paper, it feels smooth, but more importantly, It feels LIKE paper, I can feel the surface, also I don't have to worry about scratching the tablet, or cleaning off the top of it.

I use photoshop cs to paint in, and I use opencanvas to sketch in for my programs. It works well to have a scanner, most people sketch on paper, scan it in, and then go at it, and I can understand this because I can for some reason think and plan better when there's a paper under my hand, infront of me.

Sorry for blabing, but yeah go for wacom tablets
