so yeah, i realise that its not really big enough to merit the term 'leviathan', but it's pretty damn huge for a lizard. maybe a little over a foot from nose to tip of tail; i'm not sure what kind it is, but i don't think its a warwick lizard, which is what's usually around in the bushes. there was another smaller one just like it, either female or a juvenile one, but i couldn't get a shot of it (too fast, whilst this one didn't even move, except its head.).

went on a photography spree in my garden this afternoon.
