Roses combined with black and white. It looks nice!

Nice. As an ordinary pencil and B&W lover I'm quite fond of this.

I think the black and white in this photo adds to the 'dryness' of the bouquet, emphasizing on the drying up and wilting of the flowers... I like it!

a lot of stuff gets next to zero comments. Maybe there's just too much ?
anyway - it's a pretty good photo - I'm a fan of B&W

Oddly, "It's All Over" by Three Days Grace is playing while I'm looking at this. You say you caught this at a wedding? Odd combination, your luck and mine. It's a beautiful piece though, better in black and white than I can imagine it to be in color (flowers look horrible in color too me, I'm not sure why...)

Yup, I sure did. Haha, yup, a very odd combo. Though I love that song! Three Days Grace has some good albums. Depressing, but great.
Thank you so very much!! I'm always hesitant to shoot b/w because I can always turn a color pic b/w later, but I can't turn a b/w pic to color. Thus I don't have much experience with it... But I'm so glad you like it! Thanks!

Yeah, I have all but... well, it's two now, since they just released a new one (and I haven't even gotten Life Starts Now yet!) But yes, Three Days Grace is depressing, but it helps get you into the mindset when you're writing a depressing speech.
NEVER be hesitant to shoot in B/W! (though I understand that dilemma.) Most pictures look better in black and white anyway, especially portraits (I like black/white and grainy, to me it evokes the feel like you're remembering the photo, instead of it happening in the present) and still life. Still life of any kind looks bad in color (I mentioned the 'detestable flowers', correct?), but that's just my opinion, yours might be different.

Very good opinion, I agree entirely. I really like that point you made about b/w feeling like you're remembering something instead of happening in the present. I think you hit the nail on the head. I believe i will start to experiment more with b/w images...

I hope so. I'll have to go and make sure I watch you so can see this experimentation from you. Not enough people shoot in B/W...

I only hope it will be to par! Although it may be a while before they make it on to dA, I still have a lot of other pics to go through first. Nonetheless, it will be the foremost priority when next I pick up my camera!

I look forward to it. I'm not rushing you, by any means, I'm just saying, I look forward to some decent photographs (they're hard to find in my area).

No problem! A photo as such deserves recognition!
