This has absolutely no context outside the D&D session going on between me, ~Pspynett and =jinxhellbent , GM'd by ~Lilithgow . xD My character - I will upload art of him at some point - used to fight bears and other animals for a living. I won't go into too much detail to make it easier for the others not to meta-game (it's a much more social roleplay than a lot of D&D, and we stay in-character as much as possible; dice rolls are rare, sarcasm much less so), but suffice to say he wasn't pleased when this cropped up.Used a lineless style that I first explored in an image I'll upload in a bit; I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. :3 But I didn't reference at all, so I know the anatomy is waaaay off, because I can't draw bears. Bear in mind (AHAHAHo.) that some of it is obviously exaggerated/corrupted. >3> Also ignore the fact that it clearly only has its right-side teeth. >.> It was mostly drummed up so fast because ~Lilithgow was giving XP for backstory info. xD

Sweet Jeezus, this is awesome!
I love the detail throughout, but especially in the mouth. The teeth and tongue look perfect! Nice and slimy. And the blood and saliva really make it look fierce! It's absolutely stunning! ^^
I also like that creepy swirling breath. The wrinkled parts of the nose and the eerie glowing eye make it look so wonderfully ferocious! I love the soft, warm lighting on the fur along the cheek and brow. Ah, and the fur shading looks so awesome and smooth, especially along the edge of lower jaw and the top of the head!
I adore this disgusting bear thing! Where can I get one? o-o

I actually used green for the lighting, for that added creep xD
It's funny, I was just sketching out the fur shading using my usual technique, then I thought I'd go all artsy on myself and merge the fur layers and go from there. Lo and behold, it worked xDD
Everything in the mouth started off pretty visible, and then I added blood. >3>
