Yes, yes, it's a digimon, shuttup. x) In fact, there's four of these, so stay that way. I will admit to liking the digimon character designs - they were always just that much cooler than say, pokémon. I just thought they were a little too cartoony, so I thought I'd draw them in my own style.

Garurumon was the fourth one I drew - for those not sad enough to know offhand what he looks like, here's Wikipedia's image . He was the only one I actually printed off a bunch of references for, as I couldn't for the life of me remember how all his floofy bits went, nor his markings. I changed two of the floofy head bits into ears, figuring he needed some, but I generally didn't change much, apart from making his anatomy closer to that of a dog's. (I swear Bandai invents muscles.) Yes, his nails are still pink, and on the subject of the colour of his darker markings, they're actually roughly halfway between some online pictures and some screenshots. Seems no one can decide. x) The main reason I drew Garurumon...? Apart from just being generally awesome, he had no fething wings. I was getting tired of shading wings.

Lines and shading in biro, followed by a quick and less-sloppy-than-the-others toning job in Photoshop.
