• Personality: Let's just cut to the chase, sweetheart. Bender is a grade-A sleaze ball. His ego is the size of a Wailord and there really is no way to deflate it, for he's incredibly stubborn. He's always looking out for numero uno. If that means playing nice with people, he can do that. After all, he's got to stay off the radar to keep making money, or so he thinks. He is very weasely but characteristically hard-headed. He's very good at math because his job requires him to be, but otherwise he's fairly obtuse. Too many knocks to the head, perhaps. His real talent is weaseling his way out of trouble and sticky situations, and if some people are caught in the collateral, big deal. No skin off his horns. For obvious reasons he doesn't make friends easily, so he just lives under the delusion that other people are his friends, even when they aren't. Don't be startled if he walks up to you and calls you his best mate even if it's the first time you've ever spoken. Don't bother trying to argue it, he'll call you friend until he decides he doesn't need you anymore. In short he is greedy, narcissistic,vself-involved, and slightly delusional. Not a good guy. Positive qualities? He actually doesn't judge people. He doesn't care who you are, what your background is, what you do, or what you think. Money is money, and people have money. Everyone is equally not as cool as he is. To keep out of trouble, he generally sticks to himself and out of the limelight. Under that, however, is a raucous party animal. Need a badass party planned on the DL? Call Bender. Also, ladies, watch out. This self-proclaimed ladies' man is really anything but.

• Bio:He gets his conniving ways from his father. Also a business man of sorts, no one really knows what he does, all they know is that you don't want to get tangled up in it, and he makes a lot of money. The Rodriguez have a rags-to-riches kind of story. Bender grew up in a big fancy house bought and paid for with what was probably dirty money. He idolizes his father though and one day hopes to take over the family business, whatever that may be, even Bender isn't totally clear on it. He suspects the mob. Really though it's probably a lot of embezzlement, and scuzzy salesmanship. Like his son, Mr. Rodriguez likes to think of himself has the romantic villain, when really he's just a jerk with a fair amount of self-loathing. Mr. Rodriguez has always been stingy with the money he makes and encouraged Bender to get his ass in gear and make his own money. So that's what he did, and much to his father's joy, it was in a less than acceptable manner. Bender is the guy you can depend on to get you things. He'll get you what you want, without question. For a price, of course. His services don't come for free. Need a rare-candy? Ask Bender. Need amulet coin or a macho brace? Ask Bender. Need to know if that cute Ninetails girl across the hall likes you? Ask Bender. Is there a video game your parents won't let you get? Ask Bender, and he'll get it for you. Need an awesome party planned with a rockin' DJ and lots of berry punch? Ask Bender, and he'll set you up. He is a jack of all trades! Perhaps he likes to think he's a badder guy than he really is, because in all honesty, what he does is legal and follows the rules. Don't remind him though, it'll hurt his feelings, and he might actually butt heads with you (badum-tss) just to prove he's a bad, bad guy. All he asks is that you keep it on the down-low and don't involve him in your doings. He really doesn't care. (Unless it's a party you want in which case he's gonna party hard). He spends his time staying off the administration's radar and minding his own business. Aside from his little side-business he's a decent student. Gets average grades, stays out of trouble, and doesn't mouth off too much. His cooking is atrocious, however. Unfortunately, he is convinced he is an artist in the kitchen. He's more like a trash compactor. Consuming items cooked by him is inadvisable and may put you in the infirmary. You have been warned.

• Why is your character going to/want to go to Pokemon Academy? Because that's what self-respecting business men do right? Send their kids to hoity-toity private schools to get them a real good education, make connections, and pad their resumes. Bender won't complain. Nice, expensive Academies is where the money's at.
