Badir usually helps Mother Night in delivering mail and packages from one dream to another, a chore that eventually earned him the nickname of the "Oneiric Messenger".  Don't be fooled, it's not an easy task! After all it's impossible to know in advance how the addressee will receive you. For example, once he delivered a letter to who should have been a young mother, but in her slumber they were all transformed into rodents and small animals. Amidst that fur it was very difficult to find Abigail!
