So if you want to know what ever happens to him, you can read Merrick. Although I must warn you...its a bit of a bore. And you might not accept his ending.

As I said a read a little of the back of the book and it didnβt seem all that bad to me, then again I scanned it.
All I really know about his ending is that he tries to kill himself, gets brought back different personality wise ( Not to mention more vampirish), makes Merrick a vampire (Who I think I read somewhere that heβs in love with) because of the spirit Claudia deal, and then goes off with her and Lestat. I think thatβs right anyway.
Iβll read other bookβs I need to first and think on it.
Your advice has been greatly appreciated.

I like your picture. Its amazing people can pull off things like this.
The colors match well even though the cloth in the back is lacking in the same detail as the characters. The characterβs expressionβs show their emotions well. Louis looks like WTH. The body positions are also proportioned correctly I think the roses came out the best in detail and color. They capture the audienceβs attention the best. The shine if their hair is also quite distracting. I like the make of the roses and the hair the best.
Iβm almost done with the Queen of the Danmed but I donβt think Iβve come across that line yet. If you donβt mind me asking do you remember where the line shows up? Iβm still at the part where Akasha is showing Lestat around and Maharet is still telling her story to the group.
Iβm also not sure if I should read Tale of the Body Thief. I mostly read the books for Louis, since heβs my favorite character. I know heβs in that book but I not sure if Iβll like the bashing. Does he get bashed in that book? I know Lestat get really angry at him for refusing to help him.
I also donβt know if I should read the book that Louis almost dies in. Doesnβt he fall in love with the witch girl and is not with Lestat anymore in that book?
Sorry for asking so many questions? Iβve only recently started reading the books.
Iβd appreciate it if anyone whoβs read the books would give me their advice.

First of all...READ TALE OF THE BODY THIEF!
Don't worry, I don't want to spoil anything, but Louis gets bashed just for refusing to help Lestat (which I dont blame). But in the end, it's sweet. It's a really amazing read; one of my fave books! (Btw, READ Memnoch the Devil!)
Hmm...I think you passe that line a long while ago. It was before all that, it was when Lestat entered the concert. It's around the begining.
Yes Louis almost dies in Merrick, BUT Lestat makes Louis drink his blood to save him. Lestat still loves him, but liek Anne rice had a few issues, she started beliveing in God and whatnot (lol), and after the Vampire Armand, all the books go downhill from there

I all ready know the general outine of the books,...well not all of them. I just wasn't sure which ones I should read. I don't want to read one book that will ruin my love for certain characters, it happend in Fruits Basket. I've ended up liking this series alot, even though most people around me are absorbed with Twilight. I'm currently reading Armand as well. A little out of order I know, but I just picked it up one day.

OMG, this is SO beautifull! I love Lestat being romantic!
And IΒ΄m sorry, but I read all the comments and have to point out... Louis played a huge part at Merrick, itΒ΄s true. But also, I thought he was incredibly out of character. He forgot both Lestat and Claudia (whom I hate, but still, was a great love in his life) for a stupid witch he barely knew, AND TURNED HER INTO A VAMPIRE. Louis. Turning people into vampires.
I highly recomend you stop and Blood and Gold. BTW, read it yet? I love the epilogue so much!
Oh, and about they being lovers... Not all vampires can "do it". But if you pay attention, Louis tells Claudia that having sex is a pale shadow of the pleasure to kill. And Pandora describes the exchange of blood as her marriage to Marius, saying that the sex, which they had during her transformation, no longer meant anything. So the vampiric way of doing it is drink each otherΒ΄s blood, and we know they did THAT. XD

And yeah, he is playing a huge role, but the LouisLestat magic is dead by than T_T.
I love Claudia though...regardless of the pain she causes, my reason is because Claudia is the proof of Louis and Lestat being together and rasing a family; being happy. For loving and growing a family is the biggest proof of true love
I want to read all the VC books just because I wanna have the right to say "Blood Canticle SUCKED"

I also like the thought of Lestat and Nicolas from the Vampire Lestat. I swear something big happened between them before Lestat was turned into a vampire, I mean they kissed each other for pete's sake! And it wasn't platonic either.

LOL...oh Nicolas...I dislike him cuz how badly he hurt Lestat and how much Lestat still loved him. I believe in Tale of the Body Thief or was it the Vampire Lestat? He described that what he felt for Louis was something much stronger he'd ever felt with Nicolas and Gabriel.
Nicolas was cute, but he was too jeolous of Lestat. And Oh yeah, they were really in love; they had sex on the night before Lestat was taken away, it was purely cannon.
